Black Garlic Cream Sauce Chicken Thighs
Ingredients:
- 4 chicken thighs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves black garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375F 190C
Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat
Sear chicken thighs, skin side down, until golden brown, about 5 minutes
Flip chicken thighs and cook for another 2 minutes
Transfer skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through
Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine minced black garlic, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, dried thyme, onion powder, and garlic powder
Bring the sauce to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it thickens, about 5-7 minutes
Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes
Serve the chicken thighs drizzled with the black garlic cream sauce and garnish with chopped fresh parsley
